I have a designed a specialized drill for dento-alveolar surgery that is roughly 26mmx3.5mm.
First run is 5 parts. If successful there will be a production run and several derivatives of the drill (variations in length, width, depth of cut, taper, etc...).
Material: 440 or 420 stainless steel - either one, currently I do not have preference.
Heat treat: yes - of cutting end
Laser markings: yes - identifying marks and depth markers.
(If you cannot do one or both that is fine, I can source locally but would like to keep the process under one roof.)
NDA is required so contact me and I will send an NDA, once signed I will forward IGES solid model and PDF drawing.
