what is angle of taper?are those flats at the taper?whats the material?

can I c'drill ends to grind bearing surface between centers(should be done)and turn taper.

How many parts are you planning to fabricate?looks like these could be gang milled, of course I'll need a dimensioned drawing.I can probably make a simple compound die for $1500-$2000.
