I need a die to form the part.
Matl. Al 6061.

If you need the solid model of the die let me know.

Turn around one week.
I need the quotes by friday.

Turn around 1 week?

Just wondering if someone has actually quoted this with a turnaround of 1 week. They are supermen if they can get a perf/form die in a week.

Still need hardened punch

I kinda thought a week was too tight but I wasn't sure. Even with the aluminum forms (Which won't hold up too long) you still need a hardened punch.

It sounds like you only want to bend/form the part. Will the blanks be in the flat with the small hole and round on the end?

IF SO...Its at your door Friday for $300, if you approve the Forming Tool Drawing submittal tomorrow. If you need to create the blanks there will be an additional cost of $300 for a hardened steel tool die set. FYI we did a very similar job years ago and the yield was about 25-30 parts cutting with Al 6061T6. The steel tool will yield over 100 parts.
