The job is a simple cut out and a single bend. I will need a prototype quickly and initial production of 100 units thereafter. This will be a recurring job but how often is not known. The attached drawing should be sufficient to plan the job. The part should nest well and the flatpattern is 1:1 to make layout estimates easy.
1) Material type
304 Stainless
2) Is a material quote required or is material supplied.
Material is not customer supplied
3) Quantity
One prototype immediately followed by 100 units. Drawing may change slightly/superficially between prototype and production.
4) Drawings should be immediately available or necessary specs.
PDF is attached. Drawing is not fully dimensioned intentionally. A fully dimensioned drawing and CAD file will be sent to you when the contract is awarded.
5) Required time frame
Prototype one (1) week after contract award.
100 units 4 weeks after prototype approval.
6) RFQ ending time
Tuesday, May 26th 2009 5pm pacific standard time (PST)
9) Make known any special treatments/finishes not necessarily related to the machining process.
Break all edges, material should be brushed finish.
