Hi guys,

I need a shop that can turn this for me. Here are the material and quantity specifications.

Material : 416SS
Quote: 50 and 100 pieces where I provide material.
Quote: 50 and 100 pieces where you provide material.

This would be an initial order hopefully with similar future quantities.

A similar follow on job will be offered first to the awarded shop.

This will remain open until the job is awarded.

Good evening,

I am working on a quote and have a couple questions. Is the .400 diameter hole a through hole and is it just a drilled hole or does it require reaming? Is a small tool nose radius acceptable (.008") on both sides of the flange? What size 416 stock would you send if you supply the material?

Yes, the .400" is a through hole, it does NOT need to be reamed as the tolerance is +/- .005"(print is in err as it should be .005+/- unless otherwise noted, I will try and fix it)

Yes, a .008" radius is acceptable for both sides of the flange.

Provided stock would be 1-1/4", unless I can source some 1-1/8" as I have limited metal resources. I am sure you have better sources than I do.
