Hi everyone, I hope I'm posting this in the right forum.

I'm working on a custom server build that will house 8x 3.5" hard drives. The case I've chosen for the build does not have a hard drive rack, and I'm hoping to have one fabricated. I unfortunately don't have any CAD experience, but I stumbled upon eMachineShop's software and it seemed easy enough to use. I've come up with this drawing to illustrate the design:

2x of these will be required for the rack. The top and bottom longer cutouts will be to use Hafele 260.35.322 90-degree brackets (http://www.homedecorhardware.com/hf-260-35-322.html). I've made them longer to adjust for fitment inside the case. The screw holes for the hard drives are slightly offset to help with aesthetics, as the holes on the drives themselves are not centered vertically. Those 8 hard drive holes are sized for 6-32 screws. I'm hoping the drawing has all of the necessary measurements but would be happy to provide others. I have also exported to the different file formats that the eMachineShop software supports, but I sent those to a fellow machinist and he was unable to view any of them. Here they are just in case:

hddrack.DXF
hddrack.step
hddrack.igs
hddrack.stl

Again, this is the first time I've messed around with this, so I think I'd be looking for some feedback on the design of the rack, a double-check of the measurements, and then the actual product itself. I'm also open to materials but would require that the rack have a black finish. Whether that's powdercoating or anodizing doesn't make a difference to me.

Thanks!
