I dumped MFG when I received an e-mail from a company in India that wanted a copy of my prints so they could quote on the job with out signing up and paying the fee. I was a supplier not a buyer and this E-mail was sent to me by accident. I notified MFG of this violation and they never did anything about it. So you, who belong are competing against companies that can hack the system and place bids with companies with out paying the sign up fee.

I have a buddy that owns a shop and is going through the process of getting certified for some kind of status with an end result of being able to quote with "Preference" for those government bids.

He said as soon as he registered on some sites for I am assuming his DUNS number and complimentary things his phone started ringing off the hook with companies that will help you get setup to bid for Gov't work for a "Fee".

Basically he has a "mentor" or something of that nature through the SBA that is helping him out for free and these companies are just looking for a fast buck to help do something that is free.

Beware of people that want to "Help" for a "Fee". Especially when you didn't call them...
