Dualkit, I believe you and I are now in the minority in this new, kinder, gentler society. It's even effected the previously untouchable subsets like the Marine Corps (in which I was in the infantry...if anybody would like to discuss professionalism, you just say the word).

Has anyone here heard of a self-policing society? That concept is now a thing of the past for the most part because it requires that someone get their feelings hurt, and we just can't have that! Now, we have students that are called 'average' when they are not meeting standards that have been set for generations. If they had teachers like we had many years ago, it wouldn't be like that. So, no, I would never become a teacher...they aren't actually aloud to teach anymore.

Something like that.

Matt your right, I don't fit in. I got a foot up my rear when I screwed up, by my dad, football coaches, bosses etc, etc. I expected it. Been self-employed for over 10 years, I guess I am out of touch. I no longer have employees, economic
downturn. I told them good job and gave out extra money, bought them lunches, etc,etc when they did well, so I figured I had the right to chew some
tail when they screwed up. I was in constant battle with my second hand man over this. This guy was raised by a mother who did everything for him, and never disciplined him. One day when he was installing a prototype I designed and made on a vehicle, he unwrapped something and threw the trash right on the ground. I lit him up for it and he was shocked. He said I had no business
talking to him that way and demanded an apology. The dude just littered on my property, right in front of me. The dude was serious, unfortunately there are
many like him. What a world we live in.

Keeping on with this discussion does not show intelligence but instead stupidity!
Why not let it go?
Do you have nothing better to do then to flame people?
I see your point but nothing is to be gained here.

Don' t let him get under your skin, sometimes people have to but others down to lift them self up. They say it can also be a lack of self-acceptance.
There are alot of peanuts.
