Default RFQ prototype 4 pcs

PART# bracket-A
Qty: 4 pieces (prototype)
Material: 7075-T6 Al (also quote 6061) required, not supplied
Finish: clear anodize
Timeframe: ASAP
RFQ ending: july 6, 2007

Please no overseas quotes (North America only)

Would like to investigate possibility of doing part in steel including lightening pockets + heat treating; high strength and crack resistance required.

If possible quote two of each (2 pc in Al, 2 pc in steel)

weight estimate for each is a plus.

Can supply solidworks2007 file on request

Default most likely one time only

there is a remote possibilty of more, but very low volume.

Question prototypes

what kind of tolerances do you require and is the m12x1.5 a depth or thread pitch?

1)In the design tree of solidworks find "Material" Right click select "edit Material"

2) Select your material from the list and "OK"

3) Select "TOOLS" and "MASS PROPERTIES" Find "Mass" on the list

Now you have a weight estimate

I would be happy to discuss doing a element analysis of your part to determine its strengths but that will require a phone call so PM me your number and a good time to call if you would like.
