Default RFQ - Lathe Washer

Hello,

I'm fairly new to the concept of part design/quote. So bear with me.

I'm at work so I'm not able to include a drawing. However I can attach a brief description of one of the parts I like made. I'd need 3 of these for my intitial prototype.

However I'd like know how much the prices go down in volume.

But don't quote expecting a ton anytime soon. This is a proof of concept part and may have to be adjusted.

The washer will provide a static seal on the outside and a reciprocating on the inside. I'll be using o-rings with 70 durometer and a cross section of 1mm.

Washer/Spacer Seal

6061 Aluminum: Your Material
No surface treatment.
Quanity: 3

Outside_D 13.99mm +0.00/-0.05
Inside_D 6.00mm +0.05/-0.00
Length 2.00mm +0.05/-0.05

Centered O-ring groove on inside and outside.
Width 1.00mm +0.05/-0.00
Depth 0.85mm +0.05/-0.05

RFQ End Time: March 30, 2007
Completed: April 15th, 2007

Let me know if any of these diminsions make or break the part. I want to make sure the parts are as easy on the machinist as on my pocket book.

Thanks for looking.

I need to make a slight adjustment to the outside diameter.

Please let me know if this causes any problems.

Moody,

Thanks for the reply. However I'm in the US. Euro to dollars conversion and then increased shipping costs will not make this part feasible to have make.
