Default Advice for New Job posters

If you are new into the field of manufacturing and want and thinking about posting for a job to get RFQ please consider this. If the product you want can be bought off the shelf from another supplier it will be very hard to compete with this since they offer MASS PRODUCED parts. That is 1000 runs of the same part.

The reason for this is you have to consider the design/engineering going into this part. If it is a part you want copied then you have to take measurements off of the part and translate it onto a blueprint to easy the manufacturing design of the part. Then if it is CNCed made then you need to draw it up into a CAD program which takes time and skill. Then you need to select cutting tools for the part which also takes time.

You do all this before you actually take any cut into metal. It is much easier to just do that one time and do let the machine repeat over 1000+ times.

Just giving advice to the people that want parts that are already out there on the shelves of stores.

NOW if you want a part that can't get off the shelf or a modified part then it is a totally different story

Hope my bit of advice helps
