Default Aluminum part rfq long term

Hey everyone,

I've got something here to bid on! I've been machining this part myself for awhile now, and it's just taking too much time on my Haas TM-1. I am looking for someone who has the time or a faster machine to build in the following specs.

-7075 - T6 Aluminum (Quote with and without material.) I use 2" x 4" x 11" flat bar stock.
-Qty: 2-4 per week with long term goals in mind. Growth capability is preferred. These would be ordered weekly to bi-weekly.
-Lead time required is approximately 6-10 days per order.
-The finishes on this part need not be perfect as they will be tumbled and anodized.
-Tolerances are no greater than +-0.002".

It took me about 2 hours to do one of these. But my TM-1 can only run 3500 rpm at 22 ipm, so it shouldn't be a problem to get it done in a shorter amount of time. There are some small variations to this design, but nothing extreme.

I have the ability to produce most file types of models. And I can even provide the basic tool paths, but it may be easier just to start form scratch for your machines.

I will only consider machinists in the U.S.A. at this time. I have opened tis up to some people locally as well, just so you know. Please send me pm's with your complete quotes and/or any questions you may have.

Thanks!

Nice triple clamp

I don't see any holes for the bolts though? Are you going to do these yourself or were they just not included in the renderings?

I can do the tumbling and anodizing, unless you can get a really good price.

Thanks

Let's go ahead and leave the anodizing to me, as it will be different colors. So dimensions will be to the model spec. Monday is fine.

Sorry, I was a little vague with my quantity. So let me explain. At this time, I am needing 2-4 per week and the plan for the near future is to be ordering 20-25 on a monthly basis. But for the purposes of this rfq, please quote for 2 per order on a weekly basis.

Thanks

Hi

I saw that you are considering only US shops.

I am in Mexico, border with El Paso, TX.
So, for shipping purpouses I can give you the same service as if I were in USA.

If you decide to accept foreing bussines, I'll be glad to quote your parts.

Best regards
