Boston area--simple ball screw end machining
Hello:
I am looking for a shop in the Boston/Greater Boston area to turn down a few ball screws as follows (exact drawings provided before work): Material is a Roton 5/8" 5TPI case-hardened ball screw. There will be three pieces each 10-18" that will be provided cut to length. I would like to have one end turned down to approximately 3/8". There will be a journal section of about 1-1/2" to fit a bearing, and about 3/4" threaded 3/8-24. No other treatments or special handling are needed. Faster turnaround is better, but I don't mind waiting 7-10 days to save a few bucks. Please post any additional info required to give an estimate. I am located in East Boston so closer to me the better. I'd rather pay you the money than UPS or Exxon. Thanks in advance!
