Default Bearing mounts (used to hold a 688 bearing).

I need the following item made.

As a basic description, the part 12mm long with an 22mm OD for the first 7mm then a 19mm OD for the last 5mm. The ID starts as 16mm for the first 5mm then is reduced to 13mm for the last 7mm.

At first I need two items out of aluminum to test the idea then I need about 400 items. The exact alloy should be 6061-T6, 7075-T6, or similar strength.

Tolerance on the part needs to be +/- .015mm.

Attachment is a zip of an .igs file

Please send me an PM with a price quote.

Could you convert file to pdf, dxf, or dwf, don't think many of us will be able to open it as
it appears to be an Esprit file.

Unfortunately, I don't have the software skills to 2d drawings. The .igs file from the solid modeling is all I have access to.

The part is actually quite simple to describe. 12mm long, 22mm OD for the first 7mm, 19mm OD for the last 5mm. The ID starts as 16mm for the first 5mm then is reduced to 13mm for the last 7mm. All the ID measurements need to be tolerance of +.15mm. The OD measurements must be -.15mm.

Mark,

Could you please clarify the tolerancing on this part. Your initial post stated:

"Tolerance on the part needs to be +/- .015mm."

But your last post stated:

"All the ID measurements need to be tolerance of +.15mm. The OD measurements must be -.15mm."

We based our quote on your original stated tolerance of +/-.015mm (.0006").

Thanks!
Jonell

Yes, that tolerance was what I was worried about. I don't think I can hold .0006" on aluminum for 400 parts. Maybe I could on the (2) parts.

.006" is much better.

Thanks,
Doug

Doug,

The tolerances did not show up in the conversion from .igs to mastercam x2, I will assume that are not very tight. We make parts similar to this design already and would have a very fast turnaround
2 parts $145 prepaid free shipping,
400 parts $515 plus UPS or on your account

Payment method is prepaid visa/mc/amex mailed check prefered, before parts are made.
