Hi.
I'm looking at getting a number of muzzle brake designs machined. The outcome is an ongoing requirement for these to be produced in small runs - 10 or so at a time. Depending on sales, this could eventually become more.
Material type: mild steel for the prototype. Production run will be...
I am initially looking at 10 units.
The grade of Stainless steel is plain old 316 - for use in sea water.
As a good number of quotes are still coming in, I will award this when 1. the quotes dry up, or 2. the 1st October. Whichever comes first.
The only suface that will be visible is the top, so that will need to have at least a milled finish. Every other surface requires no additional finishing.
Tolerences of +/- 0.100mm are required.
Some additional information:
The 4.0mm radius hole in the end is 32.0mm deep, and is only in one end.
The 6.35mm slot is 25.8mm deep.
Quote required for 316 Stainless Steel part.
Material is required
Initial run of 10 units.
Required by 1 November 2007
RFQ ending time 1 October 2007
