OK please see this thread. I am trying get made some simple molds.

1)You would need a chamber size big enough up to 33 inches long

2)You will need to build a custom tool to mill the beveled design.

3)You will need to complete these within a one weeks time. I have a deadline of May 24th and need these well before then!

4)Aluminium should cost around $300 give or take.

5)New designs are going to vary in height, instead of being 2.1mm tall is now 2.5mm etc.

That's it. If you are having trouble with the test files please email me.

Millennium Tool Inc. was established in 1999 with the goal of providing quality tooling, at the most demanding of lead times, while still maintaining a competitive cost so important today.

There are key points we strive to maintain which help us accomplish our goals. The first is technology. We have the latest CNC machine tools and software. The second is that we work around the clock to lower our overhead costs and shorten our lead time. Many die sections can be complete in 24 hours, even tool steel. The third, and most important, are the employees of MTI. We have some of the most dedicated and finest people in the business that will do the impossible to see that the customer is satisfied. They are the reason that we have grown to twenty-six employees with over 17,000 square feet of shop space, which is a testimonial that we are achieving our goals we began with in 1999.

Please contact us for any of your fabrication and milling projects. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Hello RFQWork.com shops!

We are looking for someone to cut us 15 of the attached 1/4" thick aluminum plates. Overall size is 13.0" x 20.5".

We also require the attached stainless plate. 5" x 8", 1/4" thick. 20 quantity.

Holes diameter tolerances are +0.050/-0.005. Locations are +- 0.010. No special finish required. Sharp edges must be broken and deburred if they exist. Typical laser or waterjet finish is acceptable with no further work required. The aluminum part is highly visible and part of an expensive system. Stained / discolored parts and those with deep scratches or pits are not acceptable. The stainless part goes into a weldment and just needs to be free of sharp edges.

We are looking for a job to setup a long term relationship with. We are located in Winona, MN. Preference will be awarded to regional shops and those with the best communications -- but we are open to any US or Canadian shops.

Parts can be shipped on our UPS account. If you are not setup with UPS shipping we can even e-mail you a PDF of a label that you can print out and tape to the box. Payment can be made with credit card, paypal, or company check. We typically pay our bills on the day or receipt of the invoice. We can even pay in advance if need be.

I believe there is about $25 of aluminum in each of the big plates. Target price is ~ $35. There is about $15 of stainless in the small plates. Target prices is ~ $22. But it has been a while since I've priced water jet cutting, so if going rate has changed then we can deal with it. Please quote the two parts individually.

All bids must be received by 2008-05-09 (Thursday) at 8:00 AM CDT. We will award the job immediately. Parts need to be received by 2008-05-22.

If you have any questions please e-mail jj@aprsworld.com or call me @ 507-454-2727.

Thanks,

We are currently looking for new customers to fill open time on our CNC mills and lathes. We are accustomed to the tight tolerances and exotic materials that the aerospace industry demands, as well as the documentation and traceability requirements that go along with it. We're equally as comfortable running 5pcs or 500pcs and we can deliver complete with any heat treat, finishing, NDT or other processes you may need. Don't hesitate to email me with your drawings or models, or just send us a fax, we'll be happy to take a look either way. Below is the blurb from our webpage....
Taylor Manufacturing Company, Inc. is your precision parts manufacturing facility. The majority of our business services the aerospace, fluid systems and medical industries; but no matter what your industry may be, we are the precision machining house you have been looking for. We manufacture parts ranging from special nuts and bolts, to complex housings and bodies. Most of these items fit within the confines of a 6 inch cube. We do have the capacity to turn rounds up to 12" and CNC vertical machining of pieces up to 40"L x 20"W x 12"H .

TMC houses late model CNC turning and vertical machining centers in our 18,000 sqft. climate controlled facility. We utilize complete in-house programming. Our up-to-date Quality Control Department is equipped with a wide range of equipment; from a Cordax Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to plug gages, and everything in between. You can be assured of receiving only high-quality parts from Taylor Mfg.. TMC does conform to MIL-I*45208A as well as other customer certifications. We are AS9100 compliant. We received Honeywell's (formerly Allied Signal) Supplier Excellence Award in 1999 and more recently passed a Honeywell-conducted AS9000 audit.

We are looking forward to working with you on your precision machining requirements. We are comfortable doing off-load machining of operations you are backed up on, or producing parts complete per print. Give us a call to discuss where TMC will fit into your supplier base; or if you prefer, we will send a representative to your own plant to discuss your needs. Regardless of quantity, you will receive the quality and timely delivery that you need, at a price you will appreciate.

As a purchaser of parts ourselves, we understand the need for realistic lead-time quotations and the need to deliver everything when promised. TMC realizes that things are hectic enough without having to constantly check on your parts. We strive to be your "order and forget" supplier. Please feel free to contact us if you need more information about our capabilities. Or, send your sketches or work prints (in paper or digital format) to us for a prompt quotation on your precision machining needs.
